If you had told me a year ago that I would be sitting here, writing about my upcoming battle with Stage 4 Bile-Duct Cancer, I wouldn’t have believed you. I was diagnosed on February 11th, 2025, and begin Chemotherapy this Tuesday March 18th, 2025.
Life has a way of throwing unexpected challenges at us, and this is mine. But this journey is not just about struggle, it’s about faith, resilience, and the unwavering hope that carries me forward. This is a journey I don't want to take alone, and I know that my faith in Jesus Christ will ease the journey, regardless of the outcome.
Why I’m Blogging
When I was first diagnosed, I went searching online for stories of people going through this—real, honest accounts of treatment, struggles, small victories, and the lessons learned along the way.
While I found some, I realized that there simply aren’t enough firsthand stories out there. That’s why I’ve decided to document my own experience—so that others facing similar battles can find comfort, guidance, and maybe even a little inspiration in my words.
You will be with me from day one!
